Inspired by Real Directors

Before creating Encorvia, we started by listening.

We spoke with theater directors from schools and community programs to understand what happens after the final curtain — and what they wished existed to better celebrate performers, strengthen community, and support their programs.

Again and again, we heard many of the same themes. These conversations continue to guide how we build the platform today.

Celebrate Students
Lift up students.

Encorvia exists to give performers encouragement they can revisit long after the final curtain.

Build Community
Keep an audience base.

Every production deserves a lasting place where audiences can stay connected and return for the next performance.

Build Momentum
Flow into the next show.

Every production should help build excitement, community, and support for the performances that follow.

Celebrate Performers
Generate more public response so actors know people enjoyed it.

Audience appreciation shouldn't disappear into a social media feed. It should become lasting encouragement performers can always come back to.

Keep It Simple
Simple, reliable, and doesn't give my school board a reason to think it's unsafe.

Everything we build is guided by simplicity, safety, and making life easier for directors — not more complicated.

Encorvia continues to evolve through conversations with theater educators because the best ideas come from the people who bring performances to life.
